Chilemúsica returns to BOmm 2026 to keep opening new doors in Colombia

From September 8–11, Chilemúsica returns to BOmm for the fourth time, joining one of Latin America’s leading professional music industry gatherings and strengthening its work in Colombia, one of the brand’s priority markets. The mission will bring together a delegation of companies and organizations, live music, networking opportunities and a new collaboration agreement, expanding connections and showcasing Sounds from the South of the World.

With 15 years of experience, Bogotá Music Market – BOmm brings together key players from the Latin American and international music ecosystem in the Colombian capital through showcases, conferences, business meetings and professional networking.

A DELEGATION BUILDING NEW CONNECTIONS

The Chilean mission will include Sonidos Crecientes, Traru Estudios, Trauma Parlante, Sello Fisura, IME Chile, Feria de la Música Pulsar, SCD, Nueva Santiago and Vida Música Chile.

Over four days, their representatives will take part in meetings and industry exchanges, alongside a program addressing artificial intelligence, streaming, copyright, catalog management and new circulation models for Latin American music.

CHILE AND COLOMBIA DEEPEN THEIR MUSIC INDUSTRY COOPERATION

As part of BOmm, Chilemúsica, through IMICHILE, and the Cámara de Comercio de Bogotá will formalize a collaboration agreement aimed at strengthening long-term ties between the two countries. The partnership will promote the circulation of artists and companies, create new business and trade opportunities, and foster networking, institutional connections and public-private collaboration.

BOmm will mark Chilemúsica’s third mission to Colombia in 2026, following BIME Bogotá and Circulart. Together, these three initiatives have brought 46 Chilean companies and organizations to one of the brand’s priority markets.

CHILEAN HIP HOP AND ELECTRONIC MUSIC AT BOmm

The live program will feature NFX, alongside three leading names in Chilean electronic music: Alejandro Paz, Diegors and Valesuchi. Four distinct projects bringing different sides of Chilean music to BOmm’s stages and connecting their work with programmers, international industry professionals and wider audiences.

CHILE: TERRUÑO SÓNICO – SOUNDS AND FLAVORS FROM THE SOUTH OF THE WORLD, INVITING EXCHANGE AND COLLABORATION

Chilemúsica and Chile: Terruño Sónico will also present a networking gathering combining Chilean music and wine in a relaxed setting designed to bring the national delegation together with international professionals. The event will encourage conversation and new connections while showcasing part of Chile’s cultural identity through its sounds and flavors.

BOmm 2026 closes Chilemúsica’s agenda in Colombia for the year, following BIME Bogotá and Circulart. Together, these three initiatives have helped consolidate networks and strengthen the international profile of Chile’s music sector in one of the brand’s key markets.

CHILEAN MUSIC CONTINUES TO RESONATE ACROSS COLOMBIA

Chilean music continues to have an active presence in Colombia beyond BOmm. During September, Sello Fisura will embark on its first international collective tour, bringing Asia Menor, Dolorio & Los Tunantes and Laurela to Colombia and Mexico to promote its catalog. In October, Rock al Parque will celebrate its 30th anniversary in Bogotá with Mon Laferte, Los Bunkers, Gondwana, Claudio Narea, Los Tetas and Decessus on its lineup, while Festival Altavoz in Medellín will feature Magallanes-born artist Gaspar Luna.

This circulation reflects years of internationalization efforts and a relationship between the Chilean and Colombian music industries that has grown stronger over more than a decade, creating networks, partnerships and new opportunities. Chilemúsica continues to build on this relationship through its work in the country.

Chilemúsica returns to Circulart to strengthen chilean presence in Colombia

Chile will once again take part in Circulart, one of Ibero-America’s leading music markets, taking place from June 4 to 7 in Medellín, Colombia. The national participation will be coordinated by Chilemúsica, with the support of the Ministerio de Las Culturas, las Artes y el Patrimonio and ProChile, reinforcing the sustained internationalization work the organization has developed in Colombia over recent years.

Since the first exploratory actions carried out together with IMICHILE more than a decade ago, Chilemúsica has built a continuous presence at Circulart, generating concrete opportunities for Chilean music abroad. This new participation continues a trajectory that, throughout its previous editions, has benefited more than 50 companies and over 10 Chilean artists, strengthening networks, circulation, and strategic connections in one of the priority territories for the international development of the sector.

The 2026 delegation will include Carolina Records, Agencia Alvayay, Sonidos Crecientes, MusicActual, Isla Sonora Chiloé, Cosas Buenas, Mundovivo and Teatro Municipal de Chillán. Coming from cities such as Arica, Quilpué, Valparaíso, Frutillar, Santiago, Chillán and Chiloé, these organizations represent diverse perspectives and territories within the Chilean music industry, bringing together record labels, agencies, circulation platforms, and projects focused on international projection.

MEET THE CHILEAN DELEGATION

As part of the Chilean presence in Medellín, Chile’s official reception at Circulart — “Chile: Terruño Sónico: Toasts and Sounds Crossing the Andes” — will take place on Friday, June 5 at 3:30 PM at El Zarzao del Claustro Comfama. The event will create a meeting space where music and wine engage in dialogue through territory, identity, and sensory experience. Inspired by Chile’s extensive and diverse geography, the initiative seeks to connect territories, generate new links, and share a contemporary vision of Chilean culture in an international context.

The artistic representation will feature Paulina Pérez y Trama, a project led by singer-songwriter Paulina Pérez and based since 2021 in Chiloé, an archipelago located in Chilean Patagonia. Their proposal blends folk roots, fusion rock, jazz, and Latin American musical traditions such as cueca and huayno, while also incorporating poetry by Gabriela Mistral into a sonic and visual exploration connected to nature, identity, and collective experience. The project will be part of the official Circulart 2026 showcase program, with a performance on Saturday, June 6 at 4:30 PM at Teatro Comfama Alfonso Restrepo.

With this new participation, Chilemúsica continues expanding opportunities for connection and visibility for Chilean music across Latin America, fostering spaces for exchange, collaboration, and growth for artists and music companies. Chile’s presence at Circulart 2026 also reaffirms its commitment to strengthening long-term partnerships in Colombia, a key territory for the international expansion of the Chilean music ecosystem.

Chilemúsica consolidates its presence across all editions of BIME Bogotá and arrives this year with its largest delegation to date

Chilemúsica returns to BIME Bogotá, reinforcing its work in Colombia—one of its key markets for the internationalization of Chilean music. Over the years, it has fostered connections, business opportunities, and collaborative platforms between both ecosystems, strengthening a strategic relationship within the Latin American circuit.

BIME Bogotá  —taking place from May 5 to 7, 2026— has established itself as one of the leading music industry gatherings in the region. In this context, Chile arrives with a delegation of more than 30 representatives from companies and organizations in the sector, its largest to date.

This year, the focus is on networking and building new connections. The delegation reflects the diversity of Chile’s music ecosystem, with projects coming from Arica, Santiago, San Antonio, Concepción, Chillán, Osorno, and Coyhaique, along with a strong representation from the Ñuble region. This presence highlights the decentralized nature and sustained growth of the sector.

Participating organizations include Jaipp, Telúrica Producciones, Sello Fisura, Agrupación MUDO, Cactus Music, Carolina Records, Mundovivo, Sello Trigal, Magbar, Lichens, Locatalira, EM Music Supervision / Asociación de Supervisión Musical de Habla Hispana, Intrépido, DSM & Humboldt Electronics, Feria Pulsar, SCD, Red Poncho, SurPop Records, El Ñublensino, NegraLuna HomeStudio, Cosas Buenas Producciones, Quincha, Mercado Creativo y Musical de Ñuble, FAQ Music, Altafonte, Teatro la Matriz, We Make Noise Santiago, Chillán Conciertos, Vida Música Chile and singer-songwriters Maria Simon and Lite Ruiz.

MEET THE CHILEAN DELEGATION

As part of its program, Chilemúsica will present “Chile: Pitch & Wine – Conexiones desde el Sur”, an event combining short project pitches with a curated tasting of Chilean wines. Designed to activate exchange, encourage professional interaction, and open new opportunities for collaboration, the activity will take place on Tuesday, May 5, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at P1 Laboratorio de Emprendimientos (Floor 1, Universidad EAN).

The Chilean presence will also be reflected across the professional and artistic program. On Tuesday, May 5, Cecilia Huerta (Altafonte) will take part in the panel “Artists Crossing Borders: Strategies for International Growth Without Losing Identity”. That same day, Francisca Sandoval, Chilemúsica’s General Manager, will participate in the working session “Business Models in the Music Industry”, organized by BIME and ELPAUER.

On Wednesday, May 6, producer and composer Taiko —known for his work with artists such as J Balvin, Bad Bunny, Mora, and Paloma Mami— will join the panel “Producers: The Present and Future of Sound”. On the same day, Enzo Massardo will lead the workshop “7 Keys to Sync: How to Increase Your Chances of Getting Your Music Placed”.

Live performances will also be part of the Chilean presence. At BIME Live, Amigo de Artistas —a Chilean urban cumbia duo formed by Diego Noguera (Godie) and Vicente Cibié (V.I.C.)— and Julianno Sosa, one of the standout names in Chilean trap, will perform on Thursday, May 7 at Kaputt Club.

Chile’s participation in BIME Bogotá is supported by the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage and ProChile, as part of a strategy aimed at strengthening the international projection of the Chilean music industry and expanding its connections with key markets. This roadmap continues to activate networks and position Chile as a dynamic player within the international circuit.
